The Yawp - The Annual Magazine of St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School
“Now, for those of you who don't know, a ‘yawp’ is a loud cry or yell,” actor Robin Williams proclaimed in the famous 1989 movie, Dead Poets Society. In the film, Williams played the role of English teacher John Keating who inspired his students to make their lives extraordinary. Shortly after the movie, in the early-90s, a student newspaper named The Yawp was developed and existed for several years at Pacelli High School. When creating this magazine, The Yawp seemed to be a fitting name. We are so excited about what’s happening at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, we’re ready to shout it from the rooftops! So, today, The Yawp is one of many opportunities to help you stay connected with St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School.
