Sprint Into Spring 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

8 a.m. - 1 Mile Fun Run 8:30 a.m. - 5K Columbus State University Lumpkin Center On your mark, get ready to lace up your sneakers for our Sprint Into Spring 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, hosted by the St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School Vikings Booster Club! The last day to register for the race is March 24th. Note: There is no day-of-the-race registration this year! This year's races will begin near CSU's Lumpkin Center Lawn (on Cougar Court). The 5K route will proceed down Rails to Trails, to Hilton Avenue, and back.
The last mile of this year's Sprint Into Spring will be dedicated to Barry Ivey. Barry was married to St. Anne-Pacelli Preschool/Extended Day/Camp Viking Director Sheryl Ivey and was the father of 1st Grade Assistant Cori Ivey and Pacelli sophomore Clayton Ivey. Barry passed away on December 21, 2021 after suffering for two months from complications due to COVID-19. Barry was known for his witty personality and generous spirit. He enjoyed supporting our Vikings Athletics program - whether it was coaching soccer, being a Booster Club sponsor, or cheering for our student-athletes. A family man, Barry was a devoted husband and proud father. Please continue to keep the Ivey family in your prayers.
