Scholarships are intended to reward students for academic and extracurricular achievements. Families are not required to fill out the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to apply for scholarships.

Pacelli Scholars
Our community aims to attract and reward students who exemplify these characteristics through the distinction of Pacelli Scholars. This award program is available to all registered rising 9th grade students from St. Anne-Pacelli and other area schools. Multiple Pacelli Scholars awards are given each year based upon the number of qualified applicants. Annual award amounts vary from $2,000-$5,000.
Bishop J. Kevin Boland Scholarship: Rising 9th grade students from St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School who are registered parishioners at any local Catholic parish may apply for this annual $5,000 award. This award will be given to a student who is committed to their Catholic education and demonstrates a balance of academic success along with a commitment to others through contributions to school, church, and community. The Bishop J. Kevin Boland Scholarship was established in 2012 in honor of Bishop Emeritus John Kevin Boland who served as the thirteenth Bishop of the Diocese of Savannah from 1995 to 2011. Prior to serving as Bishop, Father Boland served as pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church from 1983-1995. This award is restricted to current 8th grade students at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School who will be in 9th grade for the 2024-2025 school year.
High School Subject Area Academic Scholarships: Rising 9th-12th grade students may apply for an up to $1,500 annual award for excellence in the area of Fine Arts, Science and Technology, or the Humanities.
The Rodriguez Family Math Scholarship Fund Academic Scholarship: Rising 9th grade students may apply for a $1,000 annual award for excellence in Math.
Middle School Subject Area Academic Scholarships: Rising 6th-8th grade students may apply for an up to $500 annual award for excellence in the areas of STEM, Fine Arts, and Humanities.
St. Anne Council of Catholic Women (CCW) Scholarship: Rising 9th grade girls who are active and registered members of area Catholic parishes may apply for this $500 award. The award renews each year of high school as long as the student remains in good standing.
The following scholarship is awarded automatically to the top students entering 9th grade. No request form or separate application is necessary.
High School Merit Scholarships: Rising 9th grade students may be selected to receive an up to $2,000 annual award. No application necessary; recipients will be selected based on grades and the High School Placement Test results.

High School Study Abroad Award: Rising 9th-12th grade students may apply for an up to $1,000 award for St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School-sponsored study abroad opportunities. Please complete this application by December 1, 2023.
High School Time & Talent Award: Rising 9th-12th grade students who contribute to their community, be it school, church, or larger area, through their involvement in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, sports, and service may apply for an up to $1000 one-time award.
Middle School Time & Talent Award: Rising 6th-8th grade students who contribute to their community, be it school, church, or larger area, through their involvement in extra-curricular activities such as clubs, sports, and service may apply for an up to $250 one-time award.
The Rev. J. Gerard Schreck Award is given in honor of Reverend J. Gerard Schreck who served at St. Anne Catholic Church as Assistant Pastor from 1989 to 1995 and Pastor from 1995 to 2013. Rising 9th grade students who are registered and active members of St. Anne Catholic Church may apply for this up to $500 one-time award.
The Rev. Jeremiah McCarthy Memorial Award is given in loving memory of Reverend Jeremiah McCarthy who served at St. Anne Catholic Church as Pastor from 2013 to 2018. Rising 6th -12th grade students who are dedicated to their Catholic education and are registered and active members of St. Anne Catholic Church and its ministries may apply for this up to $500 one-time award.
Columbus Deanery Council of Catholic Women Memorial Award: Rising K-5th grade girls who are registered members of area Catholic parishes may apply for this one-time $250 award provided by the Columbus Deanery Council of Catholic Women (CDCCW). Two awards will be given; one to a student in K – 2nd and one to a student in 3rd – 5th. The award is in memoriam of CDCCW presidents. Priority will be given to families demonstrating financial need through the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.
Knights of Columbus Award: Rising 9th-12th grade boys who are registered members of area Catholic parishes may apply for this $500 one-time award. The selection of the recipient is made by the sponsoring organization.
Edna J. Hagan Memorial Award: Rising 9th grade girls who are active and registered members of area Catholic parishes may apply for this $1000 one-time award provided by the Ladies' Auxiliary of Columbus. The award is in memory of Edna J. Hagan, a long-time educator and LAUX member, who helped establish this scholarship.
Lt. Col. Ben and Ann Stahl Military Award: Active duty military families with rising PK4-12th grade students may apply for this up to $2,000 one-time award. This award may be divided into increments and awarded to several different families. Priority will be given to enlisted and junior officer (Lieutenant and Captain), and families demonstrating financial need through the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.
The Sister Mary Patricia Thomas, RSM Memorial Award is given in memory of Sister Mary Patricia Thomas, RSM, who played a foundational role alongside Monsignor Deimel, in establishing Pacelli High School. Rising 9th-12th grade students of retired or active duty military parent(s) may apply for this up to $1,000 one-time award provided by alumnus, Reverend Michael Cerrone '63 in celebration and recognition of Pacelli High School's history and emphasis on promoting the Catholic faith through alumni who are moral, loyal conscientious American citizens. Leadership Award: Student Ambassadors in grades 7-12 are eligible to receive this one-time $250 award. One middle school and one high school student will be selected from applications received. Alumni Legacy Award: Rising PK4 -12th grade students who have a parent(s) who graduated from St. Anne-Pacelli may apply for this one-time $500 award. One elementary school, one middle school, and one high school student will be selected from applications received.
The following award is awarded automatically to the top students entering 4th-8th grade. No request form or separate application is necessary.
Lower/Middle School Merit Scholarships: One rising student in each grade (4th-8th) will be selected to receive a one-time $500 merit scholarship. No application necessary. Recipients are selected based on grades and the MAP Standardized testing results.
High School Study Abroad Award: Rising 9th-12th grade students may apply for an up to $1,000 award for St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School-sponsored study abroad opportunities. Please complete this application by December 1, 2023.

Brannan Memorial Scholarship Award: The Mike Brannan Memorial Scholarship was created by the Brannan family, all Viking alums, who present this award in honor of Mike each year to a graduating senior who has plans to attend college, lettered in two or more sports, demonstrates leadership on and off the field, is a good sportsman, and is respected by his or her peers and faculty. The recipient will receive a one-time up to $1,500 award towards tuition and college-related expenses. The selection of the recipient will be made by the faculty at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School based on the above-mentioned selective criteria.
Dylan Rose Dorchak Memorial Scholarship Award: St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School 12th grade, college bound females may apply for a one-time $1,000 award towards tuition and college related expenses. Because Dylan made such an impact on all those who knew her, applicants for this scholarship will be asked to write an essay describing how they intend to make an impact on the world. The selection of the recipient will be made by the sponsorship organization.
Mikey Jacobs Memorial Scholarship Award: The Science National Honor Society Mikey Jacobs Memorial Scholarship recognizes a senior whose example of faith, courage, selfless service, and random acts of kindness remind us that “we can’t live our lives thinking about the bad things” and honors the memory of Mikey Jacobs. Recipients will receive a one-time up to $1,000 award towards tuition and college-related expenses. The selection of the recipient will be made by the faculty at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School and the members of the Science National Honor Society based on the above-mentioned selective criteria.

They also make awards to children of first responders who were killed or disabled. The applications for Folds of Honor scholarships open February 1st and deadline in March. The applications include a Private School Verification Form to be completed by St. Anne-Pacelli. The form may be submitted to the school office with Section 1 completed. Upon verifying that the student is registered for the 2024-2025 school year and the account is in good standing, the form will be completed. Please allow 72 hours for the form to be processed. For eligibility and applications, visit www.foldsofhonor.org/scholarships.
