Pacelli Welcomes New Head Volleyball Coach

St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School announces the hiring of Kaylee Rose as the new Head Coach for the Lady Vikings Volleyball program. Coach Rose assumes the role following the departure of former Head Coach Kristin Trotter, who is relocating out of the area with her husband as part of his military service. Pacelli extends its gratitude to Coach Trotter for her leadership and contributions to the volleyball program.

A native of Phenix City, Alabama, Coach Rose brings a strong background in both playing and coaching volleyball. She currently coaches two travel teams with COLAVOL and remains active in the local volleyball community, competing in and organizing area tournaments.

Coach Rose began her collegiate playing career at Andrew College before transferring to South Carolina State University. She has previously served as a volleyball coach at Shaw High School, Calvary Christian School and Chattahoochee County High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Columbus State University.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Pacelli family,” said Coach Rose. “I’m passionate about developing athletes not only in their skills, but in their confidence, discipline, and love for the game. I can’t wait to get to work with the student-athletes and build something special together.”

Pacelli Athletic Director Calvin Thomas expressed enthusiasm about the hire, stating, “Coach Rose brings energy, experience, and a true passion for student-athlete development. We are excited to see her lead our volleyball program and continue to build on its strong record.”

Coach Rose will hold an interest meeting for 2026-2027 6th-12th grade girls interested in playing volleyball at Pacelli on Wednesday, April 15th at 5 p.m. at The Beck Center, 1801 Box Road, Columbus, GA. Parents should attend the meeting as well. Pre-season conditioning, tryouts, and summer workout schedules will be discussed.
