Pacelli Student Recognized as National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist

St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School is proud to congratulate Jose Ayerdi, Class of 2026, on being named a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

To achieve this honor, Jose scored in the top 1% of students in Georgia on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). He will now advance in the competition, joining other high-achieving students from across the nation as they pursue scholarships offered through the prestigious program.

The National Merit Scholarship Program is one of the most respected academic competitions in the country, recognizing outstanding students for their academic achievement, leadership, and potential for future success.

“Jose’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have earned him this well-deserved recognition,” said High School Principal Carolyn Brewster. “We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and excited to see what lies ahead for him.”

Finalists for the National Merit Scholarship Program will be announced in early 2026.
