Pacelli Community Reacts to First "Millennial" Saint

WRBL News 3 stopped by St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School to talk with St. Anne Church Parochial Vicar Fr. Kevin Braski and two seniors, Shelby Comiskey and Nash Maglione, about the canonization of Carlo Acutis, the 15-year-old tech-savvy teen from Milan who became the first millennial saint. Canonized on September 7, 2025, at St. Peter’s Square, Acutis was celebrated for combining his faith with modern technology - most notably creating an online catalog of Eucharistic miracles before his death in 2006.

Nicknamed “God’s Influencer,” Acutis has been hailed as a relatable role model for young people, showing how faith and digital culture can coexist. For Catholics in our community, his story offers both inspiration and a reminder that sainthood is attainable in today’s world.
