Expansion of School Safety Team

Expansion of School Safety Team

We are pleased to share an important update regarding our continued commitment to campus safety.

Our school is expanding its safety team with the addition of a second School Resource Officer, Christopher Charleston. This step reflects our ongoing priority to provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Officer Charleston brings 22 years of service in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout Noncommissioned Officer, including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He has also served as an instructor in small arms and hand-to-hand tactics, training and mentoring soldiers to perform effectively in complex environments.

Many of you may already recognize Officer Charleston, as he began working with us mid-school year in a temporary role and quickly became a valued presence on our campus. We are proud to now welcome him as a full-time member of our leadership team. He is also a parent of a 2025 graduate and current 8th grader, and serves as an assistant soccer coach to our two-time state championship boys' soccer program.

The addition to our school's security team strengthens our ability to proactively support student safety, build positive relationships, and ensure a secure learning environment for our entire community.
