Lovelight Christmas Tree
In 2015, St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School established a Lovelight Christmas Tree as a way to honor those who have gone before us and to thank those who have played a special part in our lives. For the last five years, we have gathered as a school family to pray for our loved ones and marvel at the beauty of our Lovelight Tree. This year, while we cannot gather together, our prayers remain.
Lights and angels will be virtually placed on our 2020 Lovelight Christmas Tree, each in honor or memory of someone who is a part of or loved by our Viking family. Learn more here. Take a moment to think about those people in your life who have shown you kindness. Recall those loved ones who are with you in your heart and have gone to their eternal rest with the Lord. We hope to fill our Lovelight Tree in honor or in memory of our loved ones as a beautiful symbol of the love that exists within our Viking family. Please complete this form to add your loved one to our Lovelight Tree. If you wish to send a notification to a family member or friend informing them of your Lovelight Tree intention, please include their contact information within the form. You can view our Virtual Lovelight Tree anytime. It will be updated daily with the names of your loved ones as they are received. Additionally, throughout Advent, your loved ones will be kept in daily prayers of the Viking Family.
As we will not host a tree lighting this year, we are not requiring a monetary donation for the Lovelight Tree intentions as we have traditionally. However, if you still wish to make a donation to St. Anne-Pacelli on behalf of your loved ones, these donations will continue to be reserved for use in our Mother of Mercy Courtyard. Whether real or virtual, our Lovelight Christmas Tree remains and reminds us of the hope of eternal life in God. We are called to be a light to everyone around us especially in times such as these. May your holidays be filled with joy, God’s blessings, and all good things!
