Note From Our Athletic Director

Physical development is part of the mission of St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, and we are proud of our strong athletic program! Students are encouraged to participate and have an opportunity to play a sport in every season of the academic year. St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School's athletic program begins in elementary school, as young as 3rd grade. Middle and high school athletes compete in 15 sports.
In the 2022-2023 school year, our student-athletes earned GIAA State Championships as teams in Football, Flag Football, Esports, Girls' Cross Country, Wrestling, and Boys' Soccer. We also had six individuals earn state championships in Golf, Cross Country, Track and Field and Wrestling. More than 82 percent of our middle and high school students participate in at least one sport. Six members of our Class of 2023 are committed to play sports in college; 18 members of our Class of 2022 signed letters of intent to play sports at the collegiate level; and 15 members of our Class of 2021 are playing sports at the college level in five sports.
The following sports programs are available for students:

Athletic Physicals
In order for rising 3rd-12th grade students to participate on an athletic team at St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, the following forms must be completed and returned to the main school office prior to tryouts or the first team practice, whichever occurs first:
Each of these forms, including the physical, can be turned in one of three ways:
- GIAA Preparticipation Physical Form
- GIAA Concussion Awareness Form
- GIAA Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Form
- GIAA Heat Policy Awareness Form
- Assumption of Risk Form
- Release of Information Form
- Emergency Consent Form
- Medication Release Form
- Hughston Foundation & Hughston Clinic Consent to Treat and Medical Release Forms
Each of these forms, including the physical, can be turned in one of three ways:
- In person to the main school office, attention McKenzie Grier
- Via email to sportsmedicine@sasphs.net
- Uploaded into Healthy Roster. Healthy Roster is an electronic medical record that we use to keep track of paperwork and injuries. Please see watch this introductory video for more information. If you would prefer to complete these forms online, you can access Healthy Roster via the Internet instead of the app and download fillable versions of each of the forms. Please keep in mind that the physical must be printed out as it has to be signed by a doctor. Again, physicals are good for one year from their completion date. For example, if a physical is completed today, 8/1/23, it will expire 8/1/24.
